An ethical and responsible approach

These pieces are handmade by me in my workshop in Bordeaux. Through these embroidered illustrations, I offer you a story, one you'll enjoy imagining...

Illustrative and pictorial embroidery

I work my decorations by playing with the border between painting and embroidery, thinking of each line of stitched thread like a brushstroke or a pencil sketch. A game that is revealed once the light is emitted, revealing wefts, gradients, smudges formed by the superposition of threads and shades. A result that I particularly like, because often, from an unexpected knot or a wandering weft a new color is created, another relief.
An artistic approach to embroidery that goes beyond simple ornamentation, emphasizing visual storytelling and the use of techniques that evoke the aesthetic aspects of painting, using light effects, color gradients, or finely crafted details.

Storytelling has always been a part of my creations. I love to capture intimate or solitary moments through a silent story. By using thread and light, I can capture the essence of moments and weave visual stories. Each creation becomes a window onto emotions and stories, inviting the viewer to explore the richness of details and feelings revealed in each point of light and each delicate thread.

abat-jour broderie, lampe, luminaire fait main en France

Digital machine embroidery, a technical and delicate process

For several years now, I have developed a unique technique. Behind each work, there is a long process of research and drawing in pencil or watercolor, which is followed by a very long work of programming the points and the succession of threads. I program each point like a painter places a touch of color, choosing my palette, determining my composition, my framing and what I want to tell. I play with the frames, the superpositions of colors and the densities, always thinking about the light, how it will reveal the hues and contrasts.

This work was born from a constant dialogue with the limitations of the technical tool. It's a demanding, innovative, almost relentless process that pushed me to invent a new way of painting. Working within these constraints means pushing the boundaries of what digital embroidery can offer.

Limited collections

Because I am committed to handcrafting and shaping, my creations are unique or limited editions. Craftsmanship and art are not part of industrial production; each object requires time and will always have its own personality, a particularity that will not be found in other pieces. The nobility, rarity, and history of the chosen materials require conscious, custom-made production.

A limited production, a soul and a story in each piece, which makes your interior unique and singular.

Custom creation

I also dedicate myself to creating custom works, an exciting approach in close collaboration with my clients, where attentive listening to their aspirations translates into unique pieces. Each custom project is an encounter between the individuality of their vision and my ability to bring this desire to life through my art. Together, we create unique pieces, designed to evoke particular emotions and integrate harmoniously into their space.
